The GLENN TADINA BAND has been playing the Portland Metro and Mid-Willamette Valley areas since the early fifties. The name change to include "SWING STREET" was made in 1998. Musicians in the band are from the Portland, Beaverton, Vancouver and Salem areas.

Although SWING STREET GLENN TADINA BAND plays more for dance engagements, the band has performed concerts at state and county fairs, summer festival concerts, and theatre concerts.

We offer five different bands to fit your dancing and entertainment pleasures: Up to a 17-piece Big Band, 4 or 5-piece combo, a 7 or 8-piece Mini-Big Band, Dixieland Band, and Polka Band. All are available with an optional vocalist.

Whether you are planning a corporate or private party event, dinner-dance, anniversary or wedding reception, we can fill your musical needs. We are also available for Dance Clubs, Elks Lodges and Country Clubs. We can also supply light background music for a dinner or special reception. RECENTLY BOOKED EVENTS 2009-2010

The Wednesday dances at the Oregon City Pioneer Community Center is scheduled to continue through 2010.

On snow and ice days, be sure to check here for possible cancellation of a dance. The status will be posted prior to 10:00 AM on Wednesday. ...If the Oregon City Schools are closed, the center will also be closed and the dance cancelled.

Wednesday afternoon dances February 3 & 17, March 3 & 17 12:45-3:00 PM. Pioneer Community Center, Oregon City, Swing Street Glenn Tadina Big Band $5.00 p/p. The Wednesday dances are scheduled to continue through 2010. When there is a 5th Wednesday in a month, Swing Street Dixieland Band will play. The next Dixieland date is March 31 .
