The GLENN TADINA BAND has been playing the Portland Metro and Mid-Willamette Valley areas since the early fifties. The name change to include "SWING STREET" was made in 1998. Musicians in the band are from the Portland, Beaverton, Vancouver and Salem areas.

Although SWING STREET GLENN TADINA BAND plays more for dance engagements, the band has performed concerts at state and county fairs, summer festival concerts, and theatre concerts.

We offer five different bands to fit your dancing and entertainment pleasures: Up to a 17-piece Big Band, 4 or 5-piece combo, a 7 or 8-piece Little Big Band, Dixieland Band, and Polka Band. All are available with an optional vocalist.

Whether you are planning a corporate or private party event, dinner-dance, anniversary or wedding reception, we can fill your musical needs. We are also available for Dance Clubs, Elks Lodges and Country Clubs. We can also supply light background music for a dinner or special reception. Wednesday afternoon dances July 2 & 16 (Dixieland on July 30) and August 6 & 20 12:45-3:00 PM. Pioneer Community Center, Oregon City, Swing Street Glenn Tadina Big Band $5.00 p/p. For more information see the Gig Dates 2007 page. The Wednesday dances will continue through 2008. When there is a 5th Wednesday in a month, Swing Street Dixieland Band will play. August 10, 2008, Sunday, 5:00 - 7:30 PM 4-piece combo at the Witness Tree Winery for St Mark's Lutheran Church fundraiser. Auction, music and dinner. Salem Oregon, Private event by invitation. This is our fourth year to play this event.

September 20, Saturday 5:30-7:30 PM, Hoover School Park, Dixieland Concert, free admission outdoor concert at Hoover School Park, Savage Road & Ellis St, 2 blocks north of "D" Street, Salem, Oregon
